United Church of

For over 30 years, the United Church of Christ has encouraged churches to study
human sexuality and has published life-span comprehensive resources for use not
only in the faith community, but also in secular settings. Resources include
the Our Whole Lives educational program for four separate age groups,
the Created in God’s Image adult sexuality program and Affirming
Persons-Saving Lives HIV/AIDS curriculum.
National Episcopal AIDS Coalition (NEAC) [17]
NEAC provides support for HIV and AIDS ministries across the Episcopal Church
in the United States.
The challenge is to continue to offer support for caregivers, give guidance on
prevention, encourage the growth of a network for those who minister to those
affected by HIV/AIDS, and advocate for a more compassionate AIDS policy.

institutions to identify and respond to abuse, and prepares religious leaders
