NAPLES — One Collier County School Board member believes local students are not getting enough information about the consequences of sex. But before any changes to the comprehensive health education take place, Board members agree that the public needs to weigh in on the issue.

Board member Richard Calabrese asked that the issue of the sex education policy be placed on the School Board’s agenda Thursday. He said he believes the district’s policy of sex education needs to change.
